Hester van Tongerlo
Hester van Tongerlo (b. 1991, lives and works in Weert, NL) finished her studies in 2015 at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design (MAFAD). In her practice, Hester focuses on questions how identity is created and in what way identity is produced by individuals or society. By often using her own body in an experimental way, in both photography and video, Hester tries to answer these fundamental questions about identity, who we are and how we relate to our surroundings.
