Max Hattler, Recent Works

SEA Foundation proudly announces that during Playgrounds Digital Arts Fest 2012 there will be a presentation of work by German moving image artist Max Hattler (Born in Ulm, Germany, lives and works in London and Berlin) in Sea’s Project Space Tilburg at Gust van Dijk. The experimental and prize-winning work of  Max Hattler is being screened and exhibited worldwide.  From 22nd November through to 2nd December two of his most recent works can be seen in Tilburg. The installation comprises: ‘A Very Large Increase in the Size, Amount, or Importance of Something Over a Very Short Period of Time’. A brand new work by Max Hattler, created with Russian animators at Multivision Festival in St. Petersburg in November 2012. It was premiered at Erarta Museum (St. Petersburg, 4-18 Nov), and is having its second-ever showing at Playgrounds. ‘X’ was premiered as a water screen projection on Regent’s Canal in King’s Cross, London, in September 2012, and is now for the first time to be seen as a waterless looping installation.
