On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition Brilliant Shadows , SEA presents a chapbook in two sections containing a catalogue and textbook. The publication contains a text by Robert Proost, and is designed by Jinhee Kwon. ‘Brilliant Shadows’ was the first solo exhibition show in Europe for Arik Roper, initiated by SEA Foundation in collaboration with Roadburn festival 2015. Arik Roper (1976, lives and works in New York) is an graphic artist who provides the heavy music underground with its characteristic and otherworldly visual style. The show ‘Brilliant Shadows’ compiled 25 original watercolour works supplemented by unique ink sketches.
